Job Title: Horticulture Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Horticulture Labourer to join our team at Van Luyk Greenhouses and Garden Centre. As a Horticulture Labourer, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and appearance of our plants, ensuring they are properly cared for and meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greenhouse Maintenance: Clean and maintain greenhouses, including pruning, watering, and fertilizing plants.
  • Soil Preparation: Mix and prepare soils for planting, ensuring optimal growing conditions.
  • Plant Care: Water, tend to, and prune plants, lawns, and gardens to maintain their health and appearance.
  • Task Completion: Complete tasks such as weeding, mixing fertilizer, and applying fertilizers as needed.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive tasks and physically demanding conditions.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 to 50 hours per week.
