**Seasonal Full Time Lawn and Garden Landscape Laborer**

**Definitive Lawn & Garden Service, London ON.**

**What we are looking for**:
Definitive Lawn & Garden Service is looking for a Landscape Laborer to assist in all required daily labor operations of the business, to ensure superior quality lawn and garden service to all our clientele. Henceforth referred to as DLGS. Assist in any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

**What We Offer**:

- Wages $18-$22 per hour based on skills and experience
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**What you will do**:

- Overseeing and managing crews and equipment operators year-round.
- Correspondence with clients and the public as required.
- Organizing crews, including operational and administrative functions.
- Working alongside crews when needed to provide additional training, drive efficiency, set quality standards or fill in gaps due to absence.
- Working with the business owner and management team to coordinate snow plow operations for daytime events or planning for overnight work
- Attending and participating in weekly management meetings to help plan for the future and address, discuss and find solutions for existing issues
- Provide context and insight to business owner about employee performance for the purpose of yearly evaluations

**What we need from you**:

- 5+ years landscape maintenance experience minimum.
- Snow removal experience considered an asset
- Graduate from a horticulture diploma program considered an asset.
- Experience with small repairs considered an asset
- D license or higher considered an asset
- Team player.
- Leadership abilities.
- Strategic mindset with passion for long-term growth in the company.

**Health & Safety Accountability**:
Responsible for managing any and all health and safety policies and safe working procedures. Full understanding of all equipment care, maintenance and safety manuals is mandatory
- Ensure that any and all injuries are reported to DLGS and documented and treated promptly
- Be alert and report any actual or potentially hazardous situations or practices to DLGS
- Hours are dependent upon weather conditions and work availability
- All employees are on a three month probationary period from start date annually
- Remuneration is hourly and is based on industry standards - commensurate with experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

- Landscape maintenance: 5 years (preferred)
