About the Role:The MEG System Manager will play a critical role in maintaining the daily operations of our Magnetoencephalography (MEG) laboratory. This position requires a highly motivated and organized individual with a strong background in biomedical engineering or a related field.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks on the MEG equipment, securing permanent cooling of the system, and training users on operating the MEG and associated laboratory equipment.
- Performing daily system performance tests to ensure optimal operation within specifications
- Assisting users in planning experimental setup and configuration of MEG recording
- Managing acquired data, including transfer, storage, and backup
- Participating in MEG data analysis
- Maintaining lab inventory and supplies for standard experimental procedures
- Managing a web-based system for lab scheduling and billing
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Two to three years of relevant professional experience in engineering technology or a research laboratory
- Experience with electronic laboratory equipment and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in IT management, operating systems, and network administration
- Programming skills, preferably in Matlab and Python
- A dynamic and collaborative work environment
