At FirstService Residential, we are dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients and residents. As a Security Concierge, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our communities.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Burlington, ON. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong ability to remain calm under pressure, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and clarify residents' needs and desires, answering questions, giving directions, and instructions
  • Manage and screen messages, ensuring timely and effective communication with residents and staff
  • Schedule access for authorized vendors to provide services within units, maintaining confidentiality and discretion
  • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety and access control procedures
  • Provide protection to clients, residents, and property, responding promptly to emergencies and incidents
  • Ensure compliance with client rules, regulations, and municipal laws, as well as Ontario and Canadian Laws
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, customers, contractors, and visitors, resolving issues and concerns in a professional manner
  • Perform routine property patrols, identifying potential hazards and taking corrective action as needed
  • Follow up on daily documentation, occurrence logs, incident reports, and front desk software, maintaining accurate records and reporting
  • Adhere to On-site Procedures, Employee Handbook Policies, Training Checklist, Standing Orders or Standard Operation Procedures, Client Policies, and FirstService Residential Policies

Requirements:

  • Valid Ontario Security License required
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; completion of College-level courses in Business/Hospitality or Police/Security Foundations an asset
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, sit for extended periods, and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
