Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including soups, salads, entrees, and desserts, to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Assist with menu planning, inventory management, and food cost control to ensure efficient and cost-effective food production.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient food service, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain and improve culinary skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of kitchen experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Completion of a post-secondary culinary program or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure and objectivity under pressure.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
