The Registered Nurse position at Alberta Health Services requires a skilled and compassionate individual to provide high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will utilize the nursing process, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to assess client status and take appropriate intervention measures.
Description:
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance. You will provide safe, quality patient and family-centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of Alberta Health Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess client status and develop, implement, and administer client care plans.
- Provide nursing services to patients, families, communities, and populations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient-centered care.
- Participate in education programs, research, and continuous quality improvement activities.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a busy rural hospital with experience in ER and Acute Care.
- Certification in CTAS, TNCC, & ENPC.
- Charge Registered Nurse experience.
