Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Government of Northwest Territories. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with clients to develop and implement personalized plans to help them achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess clients' needs and develop individualized plans to address their occupational performance and participation.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide education and training to clients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify clients' strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address clients' occupational performance and participation.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Alberta or equivalent.
  • Experience working with clients with diverse needs and abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
