Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Government of Northwest Territories. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with clients to develop and implement personalized plans to improve their functional abilities and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess clients' physical and cognitive abilities to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to improve clients' functional abilities and independence
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor progress and adjust plans as needed
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
  • Current registration with the relevant professional association
  • Experience working with clients with diverse needs and abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
