Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical 3C unit, specializing in adult patients with a focus on stroke recovery and cardiac care. As a Medical Care Specialist, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and excellent outcomes.
About the Role:
This part-time position involves conducting thorough assessments, implementing evidence-based interventions, and evaluating patient outcomes. You will also be responsible for providing education to patients and families, as well as coordinating discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition back into the community.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require a graduate degree from an approved School of Nursing, with current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Telemetry or ECG training being an asset. Recent clinical experience on a medical floor and previous experience caring for cardiac/acute stroke patients are highly desirable.
Competitive Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $85,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a retirement savings plan.
