As a Medical Documentation Review Specialist with ConvaTec, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of medical record documentation with insurance requirements.



Key Responsibilities


  • Review medical documentation to determine compliance with insurance requirements
  • Communicate documentation status to team members, identifying areas of non-compliance
  • Participate in necessary training to stay up-to-date on documentation requirements
  • Interpret reference materials to inform documentation decisions
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and compliant documentation
  • Verify practitioner credentials and maintain records within client accounts
  • Maintain client document records in Medtrack, supporting client services and claim payment processes
  • Support Team Supervisor on miscellaneous projects
  • High school diploma required, college degree preferred
  • Related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Effective written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
  • Strong critical thinking and comprehension skills, with ability to adapt to changing environment and industry
  • Clear reasoning and prioritization skills, with ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Sufficient understanding of computer operation, software applications, and digital tools
  • Typing: 50 wpm, highly recommended
