Job Title: Addictions Counselor

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Addictions Counselor to join our team at the Behavioural Health Foundation. As an Addictions Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals struggling with addiction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs
  • Provide suicide and crisis intervention
  • Implement substance abuse treatment programs
  • Conduct individual and group counselling sessions
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
Work Environment:

Our team works in a fast-paced environment, providing support to individuals with mental health disabilities. As an Addictions Counselor, you will be working in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre, providing a safe and supportive environment for our clients.
