Job Overview

The Assistant Human Resources Manager will provide critical support to the Distribution Centers in Ontario. This role requires exceptional HR expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the distribution centers by identifying and implementing effective HR solutions to business challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal HR departments to execute various HR programs.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, absence management, and investigations.
  • Oversee payroll operations for the Ontario distribution centers, ensuring timely and accurate administration.
  • Ensure compliance with established controls, auditing and analyzing the system regularly.
Requirements:
  • University degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years related experience, preferably with CHRL/CHRM designation.
  • Supervisory experience, including performance management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong coaching, investigation, time management, teamwork, and professionalism skills.
  • Working knowledge of ESA and Human Rights.
  • In-depth knowledge of the HR system functions, preferably SAP.
Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
