Job Summary:

The Assistant Store Manager is a key member of the store team, responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the overall operation of a Seasonal Store. This includes staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager in the staffing and training of store employees
  • Assist with the setup and merchandising of the store, including the display of products and maintenance of store appearance
  • Help to control expenses, shrinkage and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and profitability
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive guest experience
  • Assist with the pack-up and teardown of the store at the end of each season

Requirements:

  • Minimum age requirement is 18
  • Flexible schedule required
  • Prior retail management experience is required
  • Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per day
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
