Job Summary

This role is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operation and management of the assigned store. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support the Store Manager in achieving sales goals.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager and Department Managers to execute strategies and achieve financial results.
  • Develop and maintain a high-performing team through coaching, training, and recognition.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols.
  • Participate in community events and promote the Farm Boy brand.
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering, and merchandising.
  • Support the Store Manager in maintaining a safe and secure store environment.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in business or a related field, plus 5-7 years of retail management experience.
  • Public Health Food Handler certification, Smart Serve, and Level A First Aid and Basic CPR certification.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of performance.
  • Fluency in English and French is an asset.
