About the Role

Amazon Canada's Home Entertainment team within the Entertainment Media organization is seeking a self-driven Vendor Manager candidate to support our team and vendor partners. Vendor managers work directly with vendors to improve value, selection, and convenience across their business. They play a critical role in managing strategic and established brands to drive profitability and topline performance for their category.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a brand/vendor on Amazon.ca and drive growth of the business.
  • Inventory management, forecast generation, product launches, pricing, and conducting detailed analysis to identify opportunities to drive growth for the vendor and Amazon.ca.
  • Conceive, create, and analyze a wide range of marketing campaigns to drive vendor growth, brand awareness, customer conversion, and topline revenue on Amazon.ca.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience.
  • 5+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience.
  • Knowledge of Excel and extracting data through varied reporting tools in order to drive and influence business decisions.
  • Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with pricing and selection strategy.
  • Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development.
