Vendor Management Specialist, Home Entertainment, Canada Entertainment Media

**Job Summary**
Amazon Canada's Home Entertainment team within the Entertainment Media org is seeking a self-driven Vendor Management Specialist candidate to support our team and vendor partners. Vendor managers work directly with vendors to improve value, selection, and convenience across their business. They play a critical role in managing strategic and established brands to drive profitability and topline performance for their category.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a brand/vendor on Amazon.ca and drive growth of the business.
- Inventory management, forecast generation, product launches, pricing, and conducting detailed analysis to identify opportunities to drive growth for the vendor and Amazon.ca.
- Conceive, create, and analyze a wide range of marketing campaigns to drive vendor growth, brand awareness, customer conversion, and topline revenue on Amazon.ca.
- Creating comprehensive marketing proposals, search engine optimization (SEO), social media campaigns, email campaign creation and analytics, and creating and executing promotional strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience.
- 5+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience.
- Knowledge of Excel and extracting data through varied reporting tools in order to drive and influence business decisions.
- Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with pricing and selection strategy.
- Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development.
About the Role
