Railway Infrastructure Maintenance Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Railway Infrastructure Maintenance Manager to lead our engineering support services for a fleet of locomotives and coaches. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all engineering requirements from the customer contract are met.
This role reports to the Service Engineering and Project Manager, who provides functional supervision and sets achievable targets. The incumbent will have broad autonomy to reach results.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the project management team, customer, internal and supplier engineering teams to ensure all engineering requirements are clarified and delivered on schedule and with expected quality.
- Drive the project timeline for service mobilization, maintenance plans, service material definition, and acceptance.
- Drive continuous updates to customer documentation (e.g., maintenance documentation, spare parts catalog, work instructions, special tools documentation).
- Manage the resolution of project obsolescence issues in coordination with the obsolescence manager and system engineers.
- Monitor the delivery of all service engineering tasks and take appropriate actions to ensure resources are available and on schedule.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering; or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Working knowledge of maintenance management and familiarity with the locomotive industry, equipment, technology, and regulatory obligations.
- PMP Certification or other project management methodology and terminology body of knowledge.
