Job Summary

Aurora Cannabis is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cannabis Cultivation Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our flower rooms. As a key member of our cultivation team, you will be responsible for managing cultivation teams, ensuring adherence to protocols, optimizing plant health, and maximizing yield.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and lead cultivation teams working in the flower rooms, assigning tasks and overseeing daily activities related to flowering, pruning, and maintenance.
  • Cultivation Management - Flowering Phase: Monitor and manage the flowering process, overseeing the care, growth, and health of flowering cannabis plants.
  • Quality Control and Compliance: Enforce compliance with cultivation protocols, regulatory standards, and hygiene practices within the flower rooms.
  • Data Recording and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of cultivation activities within the flower rooms, including growth metrics, inventory levels, and flowering schedules.
  • Facility Maintenance Collaboration: Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and optimal environmental conditions within the flower rooms.
Requirements
  • Profound knowledge of cannabis cultivation techniques, particularly in the flowering phase.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively oversee and motivate a cultivation team.
  • Attention to detail and proficiency in maintaining accurate records and inventory management within a regulated environment.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with maintaining and processing plants.
  • Legally permitted to work in Canada.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed.
  • Flexibility with work and scheduling.
  • Team-orientated with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Safety-conscious.
  • High level of honesty and integrity.
  • Commitment to product quality.
  • Functional English (verbal and written).
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or related field; or equivalent experience in cultivation management.
  • 3+ years of experience in cannabis cultivation, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role focused on flowering cannabis plants.
  • Familiarity with compliance regulations governing cultivation practices within the cannabis industry.
