Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Claims Handler, Tax & Utility to join our team at a well-known financial company in the Oakville area.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

  • Process and review claims for coverage as per company policies and coverage guidelines.
  • Provide superior customer service to clients via portal, email, and phone.
  • Develop internal and external partnerships to enhance overall customer service experience.
  • Prepare detailed support documents.
  • Engage with external stakeholders to confirm outstanding accounts, where required.
Requirements

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to work with high volume claim files.
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Real Estate and Legal Assistant experience can be an asset.
  • Ability to review documents and re-calculate adjustments made in a real estate transaction.
  • Prior Customer Service experience.
  • Detail oriented and proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player.
