Job Summary

The Financial Operations Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and controlling various financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Government of Canada - Central policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling and Coordination
    • Coordinate and schedule work assignments to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare and submit accurate and complete financial reports as required.
  • Financial Transactions
    • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions, including the processing and recording of financial data.
  • Accountability and Compliance
    • Ensure that all financial transactions are in accordance with Government of Canada - Central policies and procedures, and that all necessary approvals are obtained.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate and collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure that financial information is accurate and up-to-date.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance or accounting.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a financial operations role.

Work Environment

  • The Financial Operations Coordinator will work on-site at the Government of Canada - Central location.
