Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Training and Operations Specialist to join our team at Foresters Financial. This is a 11-month contract position that will play a critical role in designing and delivering adult education programs, including e-learning and web-based materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training Program Development: Design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our business, including e-learning and web-based materials.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Utilize strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to support leaders, subject matter experts, and departments with the planning and delivery of department-specific learning activities.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
  • Project Management: Manage non-IT projects and initiatives to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of policies, procedures, processes, functions, and systems.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business and technical teams to define business requirements and needs for new and enhanced products, services, and technologies.
  • Quality Assurance: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
Key Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: University degree or college diploma, or equivalent work experience, with a focus on training, business processes, learning, and communications.
  • Certification: Certification in adult education or a commitment to obtain certification is required.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong coaching skills, superior organizational and project management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
