Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Nursing Care Support Worker to join our team at Mount Sinai Home Healthcare Services Inc. As a Nursing Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being.
  • Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up, and assembling medical equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Perform various tasks related to patient care and comfort, including taking vital signs, serving meal trays, and making beds.
  • Deliver messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments to maintain effective communication.
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines and provide guidance on healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Bathe, dress, and groom patients to promote dignity and independence.
  • Transport patients between care facilities and provide support during transfers.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Physically demanding with standing for extended periods and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
