Nursing Care Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Care Support Worker to join our team at AGTA Home Health Care and Nursing Inc. As a Nursing Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being
  • Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up, and assembling medical equipment to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
  • Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Supply and empty bed pans, and serve meal trays to patients
  • Deliver messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments to ensure seamless communication
  • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms to promote a clean and comfortable environment
  • Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations, and enemas as required
  • Maintain inventory of supplies to ensure adequate stock levels
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher to facilitate mobility
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs and respond accordingly
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for extended periods and combination of sitting, standing, and walking
