Job Title: Nursing Care Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Nursing Care Assistant to join our team at AGTA Home Health Care and Nursing Inc. As a Nursing Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in need of nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities
  • Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up and assembling of medical equipment
  • Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort
  • Perform other duties related to personal care
  • Supply and empty bed pans
  • Serve meal trays and feed patients
  • Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens between departments
  • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms
  • Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations and enemas
  • Maintain inventory of supplies
  • Bathe, dress and groom patients
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs

Work Environment: Our team works in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods and have a strong attention to detail.
