Student Life Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Student Life team as a Program Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about creating engaging programs and events that foster community building and student development.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the UNF programming calendar by designing and implementing programs and activities that promote engagement and community building among students. This includes organizing events such as workshops, social gatherings, cultural events, and leadership activities, as well as evaluating their effectiveness and making recommendations for improvements.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to the UNF programming calendar by designing and implementing programs and activities that foster engagement and community building among students.
- Organize events such as workshops, social gatherings, cultural events, and leadership activities.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with the Student Success Team to create and facilitate a successful onboarding experience for new students during New Student Orientation (NSO).
- Provide front-line support for student inquiries, providing prompt and accurate information related to student life, services, and resources.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, encouraging their involvement in activities.
- Assist students in the club ratification process at the beginning of each term.
- Act as a liaison between clubs and the university administration, advocating for club needs and assisting with conflict resolution when necessary.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A post-secondary degree/diploma in a related field.
- Experience in student life programming, preferably at the post-secondary level.
- Excellent collaboration and partnership development skills, building trust and cooperation with various stakeholders.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, influencing others with empathy and political acumen.
- Exceptional customer service skills in handling inquiries and resolving issues.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and exercises sound professional judgment, especially in handling confidential/sensitive matters.
The salary range for this position is approximately $55,000-$65,000 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
