Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Subway Restaurant. As a key member of our restaurant management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the food service area, ensuring high-quality customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Hiring and Training: Hire food service staff, supervise and check assembly of trays, delivery of food trolleys.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a related role.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, physically demanding work environment.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure.
