We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at KB Upper Canada Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of all menu items, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, with experience in managing kitchen staff, inventory, and budgets. They will also possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as a strong passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • To oversee the preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • To manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • To maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • To manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that we have sufficient stock levels to meet demand.
  • To work closely with the restaurant manager to develop and implement new menus, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
Requirements
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a senior kitchen role, preferably in a fine dining environment.
  • Proven track record of success in managing kitchen staff, inventory, and budgets.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000-$80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and bonuses.
