  • Assist teachers with daily lessons, activities, and instructional materials to ensure a smooth and engaging learning experience.
  • Provide individualized support to students, particularly those with special needs or learning disabilities, to help them reach their full potential.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and reinforce rules to maintain a positive and respectful learning environment.
  • Supervise students during non-classroom activities, such as lunch, recess, or field trips, to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Assist with grading, attendance tracking, and preparation of lesson materials to support teachers in their instructional duties.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to address student needs and progress, and to develop strategies to support student success.
  • Help students with physical needs, such as feeding, mobility, or hygiene, if required, and maintain a clean and organized learning space.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience working with children is highly preferred.
  • RBTs are welcome to apply.
  • One year of pediatric experience preferred.
  • Current CPR certification if applicable.
  • Must have a clean background and meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Computer proficiency preferred.
