Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Education Assistant to join our team at TEEMA Group. As an Education Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in implementing instructional programs and supporting students individually or in small groups.
  • Prepare instructional materials and activities to promote student learning and engagement.
  • Implement behavioral intervention plans to help students develop positive behaviors and manage challenging behaviors.
  • Monitor and record student behavior and progress to inform instruction and support.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Ability to follow instructional and behavioral plans, and communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher in education or a related field.
  • Training in behavioral intervention techniques.
  • Experience working with students with special needs.

Working Conditions:

  • Classroom setting with frequent student interaction.
  • May involve working with students with challenging behaviors or physical disabilities.
