Job Title: Insulation Helper

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Insulation Helper to join our team at H & S Insulation. As an Insulation Helper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, ensuring they are properly secured and transported to the site.
  • Site Preparation: Help prepare the site by erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mixing and Spreading: Assist in mixing and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt, ensuring they are applied evenly and according to specifications.
  • Supporting the Medical Examiner: Provide assistance to the medical examiner as needed.
  • Drilling and Blasting: Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, following all safety protocols.
  • Demolition: Assist in demolishing buildings, ensuring a safe and controlled environment.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance work, including removing rubble and other debris from the site.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in a government or community program that supports newcomers and refugees.
  • Support for Youths: Participate in a government or community program that supports youth employment.
  • Support for Veterans: Participate in a government or community program that supports veterans.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participate in a government or community program that supports Indigenous people.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Participate in a government or community program that supports members of visible minorities.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
