About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Choi's Dental Studio. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a crucial role in preparing dental models, casting metal alloys, and maintaining our laboratory supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model Preparation: Prepare plaster models and moulds to exact specifications.
  • Alloy Casting: Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases with precision and accuracy.
  • Supply Management: Maintain and order laboratory supplies to ensure seamless operations.
  • Denture Fabrication: Mould wax over dentures set-up, finish metal framework, and polish and buff dentures to perfection.
  • Orthodontic Band Production: Make orthodontic bands from metal and alloys with attention to detail.
  • Tray Preparation: Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays for efficient dental procedures.
  • Denture Packing: Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures with precision.
