Job Description


The Client Service Associate plays a critical role in providing exceptional service to clients, while working closely with Financial Consultants and Portfolio Managers to deliver high-quality support and advice.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide sales, administrative and operational support to Financial Consultants and Portfolio Managers
  • Respond to client inquiries and provide expert advice on MD products and services
  • Process trade requests, documentation requests and transaction requests as required
  • Maintain accurate records and databases for all client interactions
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement client contact strategies
  • Establish and maintain a client contact plan to ensure regular communication with existing clients
  • Support Financial Consultants and Portfolio Managers during client meetings
  • Contribute to an inclusive work environment and champion a high-performance culture


Required Skills and Qualifications



  • University or college graduate, preferably with a business or financial background
  • Thorough understanding of the financial services industry and relevant regulations
  • 3-5 years' experience in the financial services industry
  • IR licensed with IIROC
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and its applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Dedication to client service and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills
