Financial Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and schedules, including posting journal entries and reconciliations.
- Monthly review, reconciliation, and processing of corporate credit cards.
- Assist with the preparation and execution of internal and external audits.
- Accounts payable processing and analysis.
- Participation in process improvement initiatives.
- Ad hoc financial reporting and documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in the accounting field (university degree or community college diploma with a concentration in accounting, or equivalent).
- Ability to work well under pressure of time constraints.
- Co-op or work term experience in the accounting field would be an asset.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Analytical mind and a critical thinker.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.
- Adaptable and flexible team player.
