About the Role

We seek an experienced Corporate Securities Specialist to advise clients on securities law, including public offerings, private placements, and regulatory compliance. As a key member of our team, you will draft and review legal documents, manage securities transactions, and represent clients in dealings with regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities:
  • Securities Law Advisory: Provide expert guidance to clients on securities regulations, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Drafting and Reviewing Documents: Prepare and review legal documents related to securities transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Client Representation: Represent clients in negotiations and interactions with regulatory bodies, advocating for their interests.
  • Risk Assessment and Due Diligence: Conduct thorough risk assessments and due diligence for securities-related transactions, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Staying Current: Stay up-to-date with changes in securities law, providing expert advice to clients on emerging trends and regulations.
Requirements
  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Membership in good standing with the provincial Bar.
  • At least 3 years of experience in securities law, preferably with a focus on corporate finance.
  • Strong knowledge of securities regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
