Position Summary

Clinical Team Manager, Peri-operative Services, Endoscopy, PACU and Day Surgery

Your goal in this position is to lead operational and clinical excellence while facilitating an outstanding patient and family experience. You will do this by providing leadership and accountability, promoting evidence-based care, and supervising nursing and inter-professional staff. As the Clinical Team Manager, you will promote excellence in surgical patient care and contribute to program development, research, and academic development of future healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and accountability at clinical and operational levels for a high-quality and safe patient/family experience.
  • Promote best practices and evidence-based care through the implementation of initiatives aligned with the organization's strategic direction.
  • Manage physical, financial, and human resources of the clinical areas in line with the mission, vision, values, and strategic direction of the organization.
  • Ensure clinical and regulatory compliance of the team by supporting inter-professional practice improvement.
  • Maintain compliance with required Health & Safety, environmental, and other legislative requirements.
  • Build relationships with peers and other contacts across the organization and externally to create opportunities for synergy/integration.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with a minimum of a Master's degree (or in progress).
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Minimum three (3) years' clinical management or leadership experience.
