Job Title: Chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to lead our kitchen team and create delicious meals for our customers at Hemlock Ventures Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Train and develop staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage kitchen operations to meet the demands of a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Excellent oral communication and client focus skills to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads with ease.
