Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Maker to join our team. As a Pastry Maker, you will be responsible for preparing and manufacturing a variety of baked goods, including doughs, creams, fillings, cakes, entremets, and chocolates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Preparation: Prepare doughs, creams, fillings, cakes, entremets, chocolates, and other products according to our recipes and manufacturing methods.
  • Mixing and Blending: Mix the various recipes according to established procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure rotation of raw material inventories to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Quality Control: Apply quality, hygiene, sanitation, and occupational health and safety standards established by our company.
  • Recipe Confirmation: Confirm recipes in our SAP software to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Team Support: Support the team in assembling entremets and guide pastry laborers in the execution of their tasks.
  • Lifting and Moving: Lift weights of up to 25 kg for certain tasks, as required.
  • Leadership: Guide and lead the team in achieving production goals and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with food safety procedures and various certifications, as well as our company's Occupational Health and Safety policy.
Requirements
  • Education: DEP in pastry-making or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Skills: Mastery of pastry-making techniques, methodical and flexible approach, strong organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Competitive Salary: $20.60/hour, increasing to $21.63/hour after 3 months.
