Employment Type: Permanent - Full-time

Work Schedule: Day shift - Monday to Friday - 7am to 3:30pm

Compensation: $20.60/hour - After 3 months: $21.63/hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare various doughs, creams, fillings, cakes, entremets, chocolates, and other items following Première Moisson's recipes and production standards
  • Accurately mix ingredients according to established guidelines
  • Manage inventory of raw materials effectively
  • Adhere to quality, hygiene, sanitation, and occupational health and safety protocols set by Première Moisson
  • Utilize SAP software to confirm recipes
  • Assist the team in assembling entremets as required
  • Handle weights up to 25 kg for specific tasks
  • Provide guidance to pastry laborers in their daily tasks
  • Collaborate closely with fellow pastry chefs and assistant pastry chefs
  • Keep supervisors informed of any issues or conflicts
  • Support production while complying with food safety regulations and certifications
  • Implement Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in production
  • Ensure adherence to the company's Occupational Health and Safety policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum DEP in pastry-making
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in pastry-making techniques
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to product quality, results, and teamwork
  • Efficient execution of tasks
  • Strong organizational abilities
