Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at MGR Workforce. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in supporting the completion of construction projects by assisting skilled tradespeople and performing a range of tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
  • Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, including clearing debris and waste.
  • Operate hand and power tools under supervision.
  • Transport materials and equipment as needed around the worksite.
  • Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, with their tasks.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Adhere to project schedules and deadlines.
  • Report any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Follow instructions and work collaboratively with team members.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
  • Basic understanding of construction safety protocols.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license may be required depending on the job site.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds or more).
  • Stamina to perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Work Environment
  • Construction sites can be noisy, dusty, and potentially hazardous.
  • You will be exposed to various weather conditions and must be prepared to work outdoors.
