About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Weston Road Construction Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials for construction projects
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, and other fixtures
  • Supervise and instruct apprentices and other workers
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Operate computer-aided design (CAD) software and other construction tools
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in framing and carpentry
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
Work Environment

Our team works in a variety of locations, including construction sites, warehouses, and offices. You will be required to work in a noisy and dusty environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
