About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Weston Road Construction Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials for construction projects
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, and other fixtures
  • Supervise and instruct apprentices and other workers
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Operate computer-aided design (CAD) software and other technology
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1-2 years of experience in the trade
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
Work Environment

Our team works in a variety of locations, including construction sites, renovation projects, and industrial settings. You will be exposed to noisy and dusty environments, and will be required to work at heights and in confined spaces.
