Harbinger Network Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to oversee and drive the successful execution of multiple construction projects. The ideal candidate will lead a dedicated team of project managers and coordinators, ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, the Construction Manager will bring extensive expertise in construction management, project execution, and client engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Engage actively in estimating turnover and facilitating pre-construction discussions.

- Ensure the successful delivery of projects, focusing on profitability and maintaining strong client relationships.

- Set clear project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance benchmarks.

- Oversee construction progress through administrative leadership of on-site personnel, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.

- Mentor and guide Project Managers and junior staff, fostering their professional development.

- Conduct feedback sessions and develop Performance Development Plans (PDP) for team members.

- Optimize the use of labor, materials, and resources across all projects.

- Manage financial aspects of contracts to safeguard the interests of the company.

- Assist in the review and negotiation of contracts, collaborating with legal counsel as necessary.

- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans upon project award.

- Monitor and control project progress, costs, and budgets throughout the lifecycle.

- Provide timely updates to the Management Team regarding project status and outcomes.

- Resolve conflicts between the company and clients or subcontractors.

- Identify necessary changes in project scope and negotiate change orders with clients.

- Assess and evaluate project performance consistently.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the construction sector in a project management role.

- Comprehensive knowledge of all facets of construction, including technology, equipment, materials, negotiation, engineering, estimating, scheduling, finance, billing, accounting, and safety.

- Familiarity with various project delivery methods, such as design-build and public-private partnerships (P3s).

- Strong financial acumen with experience in data analysis.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

- Ability to implement innovative management techniques to enhance performance.
