Supply Chain Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Operations Specialist to join our team in Brantford, ON.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position responsible for managing branch inventory levels, administering procurement functions, estimating and quoting prices, coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs, supporting accounts receivable activities, and making deliveries as necessary.
Responsibilities- Manage branch inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Administer procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management, to meet customer demands and drive business growth.
- Evaluate and estimate prices for products, negotiate with suppliers, and source materials to meet customer needs.
- Coordinate resources to respond to customer supply chain needs, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Support accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and collections, to maintain accurate financial records.
- Make deliveries using a company vehicle as necessary, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
- Possess a current full G valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located, as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle.
- Be at least 18 years old due to the nature of the work.
- Possess or be working towards a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales, or a related field of study OR have customer service or industry-related work experience.
- Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, proficiency in computer skills, and strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency.
- Show strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities, problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills.

- Lift, slide, carry, and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs.
