Job Description
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to manage the supply chain, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers while maintaining optimal stock levels.
  • Oversee operational and administrative programs, projects, and services related to the North American supply chain operation.
  • Monitor and improve service delivery performance targets, stock utilization, and capacity optimization to minimize costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Create and maintain an effective organizational structure to drive functional excellence.
  • Manage the planning process and allocate resources efficiently during times of high demand.
  • Maintain efficient inventory levels to ensure the right products are available at the right time for optimal customer satisfaction.
  • Interface with vendors and Customer Service to ensure materials meet established standards and policies are followed.
  • Analyze progress, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Prioritize employee and food safety, adhering to regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and participate in regular staff meetings.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in vendor management and project management, with a BA/BS degree in business.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and interpret operational needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines and financial goals.
  • Prior management/supervisory experience, preferably in an international environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel, MRP, SAP, and WMS.
