Job Title: Spiritual Health Practitioner

Job Summary

The Spiritual Health Practitioner will provide spiritual care and support to individuals and families in a hospital setting. This includes assessing spiritual needs, providing counseling and guidance, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and respond to the spiritual needs of patients, families, and staff
  • Provide counseling and guidance on spiritual and religious matters
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Develop and implement spiritual care plans
  • Provide education and training on spiritual care and wellness
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. theology, psychology, sociology)
  • Experience in spiritual care or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (for on-call duties)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience working in a hospital setting
  • Certification in spiritual care or a related field
