Design Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Technologist to join our team at Tandem Networks Inc. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating engineering designs and drawings, supervising drafting personnel, and training new team members.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings using various software tools.
- Supervise and mentor junior drafting personnel to ensure high-quality work.
- Develop and prepare design sketches, construction specifications, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements.
- Lead and instruct groups to achieve design and development goals.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- Experience in design and drafting is an asset.
- Ability to relocate for the role.
- Relocation costs will be covered by the employer.
- Free parking available.
- Permanent work term.
- 30-40 hours per week.
- Work language: English.
