Design Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Technologist to join our team at Tandem Networks Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing engineering designs and drawings, supervising drafting personnel, and training new staff members.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Supervise and train drafting personnel to ensure high-quality work
- Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements
- Develop and prepare design sketches, construction specifications, and cost estimates
- Write technical reports and specifications
- Examine drawings for conformity and errors
- College diploma or equivalent in a related field
- Experience in engineering design and drafting an asset
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Free parking available
- Permanent full-time position
- 30-40 hours per week
- English language work environment
