About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team at Nexus Systems Group Inc. as a key member of our software development team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with backend API developers, Android & iOS app developers, business system analysts, and architects to design, develop, and implement automated test scenarios for our flagship mobile apps.
  2. Develop and Maintain Automated Test Scenarios: Create and update automated test scenarios in various business domains, ensuring high-quality and efficient testing solutions.
  3. Improve Test Frameworks: Contribute to the development of new ideas and strategies to enhance our test frameworks, ensuring they remain robust and effective.
  4. Design and Develop Automated Testing Solutions: Develop and implement automated testing solutions for our production software, ensuring high-quality and efficient testing.
  5. Work with Product Owners and Development Teams: Collaborate with product owners, business system analysts, architects, and other technical leads to design and develop test scenarios for new features.
  6. Review and Triage Issues: Review pull requests in Bitbucket, triage issues uncovered by automated tests, and communicate with development teams through MS Teams or Slack.
Requirements
  1. 10+ Years of QA/QC Experience: Possess at least 10 years of experience in QA/QC, with a minimum of 3 years in server-side test automation.
  2. Programming Skills: Have 3+ years of experience in programming languages such as TypeScript, Rest-Assured, or Java.
  3. Test Scenario Development: Develop test scenarios with Cucumber in TypeScript/JavaScript and Java for server-side testing.
  4. OpenApi Experience: Have 1+ year of experience with OpenApi.
  5. REST Services Testing: Possess 3+ years of experience testing and validating REST services.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  1. Google Cloud Platform Deployment: Have experience with Google Cloud Platform deployment.
  2. Node JS and Postman: Possess experience with Node JS and Postman.
  3. Build Tools: Familiarity with build tools like Gradle, yarn, npm, nvm, etc.
  4. Agile Environment: Experience working in an Agile environment.
Soft Skills
  1. Strong Technical Documentation: Possess strong written technical documentation skills, including articulating architecture and codifying conventions and best practices.
  2. Communication and Teamwork: Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills to work with multiple groups across the client, gathering requirements.
Education

A bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is required.
