About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. As a key member of our IT Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for developing and executing test scenarios and scripts for functional system integration and acceptance testing across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Planning and Execution: Analyze, define, and translate business and functional requirements, use cases, designs, and specifications into testing requirements. Manage and coordinate end-to-end testing activities for small and large projects across many teams with both onsite and offshore resources.
  • Relationship Building: Respond to client inquiries and requests, providing professional high-quality customer service for the assigned portfolio to ensure client satisfaction. You will liaise and interact with clients as part of the daily management of your portfolio technology to support objectives or address issues.
  • Collaboration: Work with test leads, business analysts, and development teams to establish test plans, standards, and procedures that add value to software projects and satisfy the constraints of the project by reviewing project documentation.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor project adherence to quality standards and track/provide progress testing status reporting as needed. Adhere to CIBC's processes through all phases of the software development life cycle—ensure test activities are compliant with test standards. Recognizing, anticipating, and resolving testing activities challenges during the testing life cycle.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in Software Testing Life Cycle - Agile or Waterfall methodologies, QA approaches, Tools, Techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational, or process problems. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Testing. PromptFlow or AI Manual and/or Automation Testing Experience is a strong asset.
  • Education: Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Critical thinking skills to inform decision-making. Ability to communicate detailed information in an impactful way. Values teamwork, trust, and accountability.
