Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive compensation package, we offer comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision care, as well as flexible work schedules and vacation policies based on length of service.

Job Description

As a Real Estate Valuation Expert, you will assist in the valuation of assets and develop key performance metrics and analytical models for our company. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including third-party appraisers, consultants, mortgage brokers, lenders, and lawyers;
  • Working with third-party appraisers and internal departments to conduct quarterly fair value calculations for each fund;
  • Verifying abnormal variances and identifying non-recurring incidents to produce normalized income for the fair value calculation;
  • Assisting in the preparation of quarterly fair value variance spreadsheets for management review;
  • Developing calculation models for fair value as needed;
  • Maintaining business analytics platforms and monitoring trends for business insights and key performance indicators;
  • Identifying operational inefficiencies or variances for all funds and investigating, following up on, and resolving any issues that arise.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or real estate;
  • 2-5 years' experience in the real estate industry within an analytical role;
  • Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas effectively to both individuals and groups;
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and a strong ability to multi-task;
  • Highly motivated and able to take the initiative required to excel in a deadline-oriented environment;
  • Strong follow-up skills with the ability to effectively resolve problems in a timely manner using relevant information, sound reasoning, and common sense;
  • Excellent command of MS Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
  • Demonstrated track record of analyzing financial analytics.
